2^nd International Conference on Paraoxonases

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee we have the great pleasure of inviting you to the 2nd International Paraoxonase Conference held at the University of Debrecen, Hungary, between 7-10 September, 2006.

Debrecen is a busy college town and it is located close to the famous Hortobágy National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. During the last decade the paraoxonase (PON) research and its involvement in metabolic disorders has increasingly become in the focus of attention. The 2nd International Paraoxonase Conference is expected to host several hundred participants and it is an excellent forum for scientists and clinicians to share their thoughts, discuss novel ideas and present recent findings on this interesting topic.

The Meeting will cover all aspects of PON research from the structural biology of the PON family to its involvement in atherosclerosis and toxicology.
After the professional program attendees can enjoy the fine Hungarian cuisine and wine, relax in the natural hot springs of Debrecen or visit the vast plains and wetlands of Hortobágy.
